Nokuzola Ehrens is the Executive Director for Strategic Business Development at Imali Wealth Group, where she supports the group’s growth, stakeholder engagement, partnership development and ICT-sector positioning.

She brings more than 36 years of experience in ICT, business development, telecommunications, data analysis, business intelligence, marketing, public-sector engagement and sector transformation. Her career began in technical ICT roles, including programming, systems design, systems analysis and business analysis, before expanding into strategic leadership, business development, transformation and executive advisory work.

Nokuzola has held senior roles across major institutions and sectors, including Ericsson, Nortel Networks, Nedbank, AVGOLD / AVMIN, Edcon, Tongaat Hulett Group and the South African broadcasting and communications environment. At Ericsson, she served in strategic business development and supported business and government relations across South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.

She has also played a major role in ICT-sector transformation. As Chairperson of the ICT Sector Council, Nokuzola contributed to the implementation, monitoring and advancement of South Africa’s B-BBEE ICT Sector Code and sector transformation agenda. She also served as a Board Member of the State Information Technology Agency and Acting Chairperson of its ICT, Research and Development Sub-Committee.

Beyond corporate and institutional leadership, Nokuzola is deeply committed to opening opportunities for women, girls and previously disadvantaged communities in the ICT industry. Through the South African Women in ICT Forum, she has supported mentorship, sponsorship and education pathways that helped young women study towards ICT qualifications and enter the technology industry.
